The short version
Monkey Run does not collect, store, share, or sell any personal data. The camera is used only to detect body movement, and that processing happens entirely on your device. No image, video, or audio ever leaves the device.
Camera
Monkey Run uses your device's camera to detect how you move so the game can respond. All camera processing happens locally, in real time, on the device itself. The camera feed is never recorded, never uploaded, and never sent to us or to any third party. When you leave the game, the camera is released and nothing is kept.
Data we collect
None. We do not collect names, email addresses, accounts, location, contacts, device identifiers, or usage analytics. The game does not require an account or sign-in. Game settings (such as whether you've seen the tutorial) are stored only in your own browser or app storage on your device and are never transmitted.
Playing on a TV
If you use the “Cast to a TV” feature, your phone sends only simple movement messages (for example “jump” or “lean left”) to your TV over your local network so the game can respond. No camera images are ever sent — only these small movement signals. We do not store or see this traffic.
Children's privacy
Monkey Run is designed for children aged 5 and up and families. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children. The game contains no ads, no in-app purchases, and no links out to other services.
